Review testimonials from past and present community partners regarding their experience working with SCOPE to learn how you can leverage the Supportive Community of Professional Engineers to empower and encourage exploration in STEM fields within your organization.
"SCOPE has been an amazing partner with Pierce College EDI CARES. Our mission has always been to provide our students meaningful and engaging learning experiences and expand their career aspirations in STEM.
SCOPE worked with us on a STEM MythBusters event focused on debunking myths about STEM careers. Students had the opportunity to learn how to prepare for a STEM career and meet inspirational mentors.
They are an amazing partner and equally passionate about motivating students to pursue STEM degrees."
- Dr. Ciera Graham-Graves, Dean of Student Success EDI CARES at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom
"Peace Community Center partnered with SCOPE to take high school Scholars on a field trip to Microsoft Campus during our Summer Learning Academy.
The Microsoft tour and AdaFruit coding activity was a fantastic way to get our Scholars excited about computer science and engineering.
Some additional highlights included meeting local team members at Microsoft, hearing how students can start getting ready for a career in this field, and lunch time (Microsoft has some delicious food). Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we hope to visit again!"
- Kelsey Longrie, High School, College & Career Program Manager at Peace Community Center
